Hello guys, after riding a Scale Pro 29er realized it was time to have fun. Below my new toy, still in progress, waiting for seatpost, wheelset and some Ti/Alloy bolts... The idea is something under 8.5...

Hi,

9,6. I have removed the whole Twinloc system (fork+shox+lock). Also using Extralite stem, Ax bar and SN saddle. The 400mm seatpost and new wheelset are coming from eastern Germany...

That's a fantastic bike. Are you planning on racing with it?

With my Scale Pro 29er at 9.6kg I was kind of dum struck at that weight until I saw the clavicula's and wheels....

Important question - although obviously extremely light, I've heard lots of owners say that the rear is so stiff that it doesn't function as a FS - your comments please as I'm thinking of getting one of these for marathon racing.

Asymptotic; it is a FS, and much more comfortable for long rides than a HT (my previous bike was an Scale Pro 29er with 8.5kg). For marathon is a very good choice for sure, Light weight and comfortable feeling = performance!

4crosswheels; Tubular AX rims, Sapim CX Ray and Tune King/Prince hubs. 1138 grams the set.

Thanks Valli!

One good thing regarding these AX rims is they are stiffer than the old Crest used on the same wheelset (Tune hubs and Sapim spokes)
