teaser photo with my webcam:

'07 52cm
-vintage Silva tape made of cork, with ugly chunks of black thrown in.
-this is wrapped onto a SLX3
-rival levers with 'bordeaux gold' hudz, these have a more positive feel than the original hoods did, but a touch more slippery
-wheels are White h1 with dt Aerospeed to IRD Cadence, 24 28
-Open corsa evo cx 320
-speedplay zero
-08 rival crank
-use carbon post
-Arione, old style
-velomax skewers

uh, ya, before anyone says anything the spacers will be removed. also if anyone wants to trade their 40cm k-force compact, or SLX3 for my 42cm, i'm open.

Nice bike.

Is there a story behind the brown tape and hoods? I guess that is the answer to the "how to keep my white bar tape white" threads :D
This board and the world in general would be a much nicer place if everyone could just take themselves a little less seriously.

I've got a tactile obsession.

and I kinda miss seeing the gum rubber on the old campy (etcetera) levers. So i was really happy when these came out.

I'm annoyed I can't really find any all cork tape. would be much nicer. I know it's out there.

would look nicer, but it isn't actually made out of cork. like all those other foam tapes, it just has little flecks of cork in it.

weighed it the other day on a rather vague scale, comes out about 7200g.
So it's a pound lighter than the track bike with the same pedals. Makes it feel really light. I got an offer of s-works cranks for cheap, that ought to save me some weight over the boat anchors on there.
If anyone knows the best way to remove the euro-bb30
insert i'm listening.

 that is by far my most favourite colour the System Six's came out with in 2007 - even today if this was my bike - i don't think i would be looking to upgrade... top choice!!! now just upload the bike pictures onto photobucket and cut and paste the URL link to your post and we get to have a closer, clearer look!! :D
