Hello all
My first post so I would like to introduced my bike, a 2012 S-works Venge Project Black with a semi custom build weighing it at 6570g. Sorry I have no pics of the parts on the scales and the frame/fork has been weight as a partial build. A set of climbing wheels (maybe AX lightness 24s) is on the wish list, but if you have any ideas on other easy changes to shed some weight I would be really interested.

Thanks all, removing the decals off the 808 is on the list of things to do, as is taking the brand name off the forks....should save me a few grams!
The weight is complete bike weighed on the scales at work, then measurements weights for everything I could easly remove...so calculated weight for the below:
- wheel break down rear, wheel weighed with cassette fitted, claimed weight of cassette used to split the two.
- crank not removed claimed weight used.
- the left over delta was added to the total frame weight hence the 1.7+kg of frame and fork etc.
Mrbruhn - I think the 1kg will be split between, Di2, wheels, brakes and the fact you are on a 56" not a 54".
I really want to get below 6kg, not sure in can without a wheel swap!

You are spot on, I'm having the same thoughts myself. Maybe switch some parts from Di2 parts from ultegra to dura ace may help, also looking to switch the dura ace brakes to something lighter. The wheels are not on the light side so some lighter tubulars will be fitted for next season. I hope you will get sub 6, it's inspiring to follow since we have the same frame and I for starters want to go sub 7.
Are you sure its a weight savings going to Di2? Everything i've looked at shows Campy SR slightly lighter then 9070.

Don't think the Di2 is a weight saving but wanted to try the system and was willing to make a little sacrifice now I just have to deal with what I've got and make the best of it. I've looked around today and a light wheelset and lighter tubulars will save of aprox 400 gr so that will be a good start.
I was thinking about a 303/404 combo as a race wheelset.

I would trade the Red crank for a SWorks with Praxis Rings, which should save around 80 grams and fit the part better.
I would love to ride a Venge
