Well here is a copy paste of my latest bike, a scott addict R1. Im a 17 year old from Christchurch, New Zealand and i like LIGHT LIGHT bikes I have listed all the weights i got when i weighed every part before putting it on the bike. Sorry if some of the Descriptions are shitty, i did them off the top of my head. Im also planning a custom stubby seat post / clamp build becuase the ritchey weighs to much and custom is my thing. :D Note the second Section of weights are potential improvements on how to go sub 5kg.

Tell me what you think, and any major weight savings you might know of. Thanks :D

TOTAL IF ALL WORK DONE: 4814.31gm

UPDATE:

Built the custom stubby seatpost, 100mm long weighs 72gms :o
Put the speedneedle on.
Did a rear derailleur tune, was pretty conservitive about it becaus ei race elites, so it has to stand up to sprinters abuse 8)
New tyres and tubes all round.
Put some KCNC CB7s on as well... look HOT
Built some custom Barrel Adjuster for it
Built some jockey wheel bearing caps as well.
Built a headset to cap with an intergrated expanderer thingy
Built some Aerolites off old spindles (weighs 72gms with a bohemouth of a steel bolt holding it in)
Built a custom computer mount off the front of the stem as well for aesthetics

Total weight at the moment on ALUMINIUM Wheels (1400gm Yishuns) is...

= 5123.57gm.

Next work to do is probably a lever tune including BTP hoods (anyone got some for sale?) and some more dremmeling, an entire bolt tune so that the bike is completely red and black, and i will also do a Berk and buiol myself an intergrated saddle / seat post Stubby build which will drop it to 5000gm flat along weith some other small wee bits i build.

Note: if i ran some fancy carbons i can get my hands on from 'Theremery' ill be looking more like 4200gm :D mmmmmhm i think so :)

Ill start a thread soon of some of the building i do ( i build delrin parts, and carbon bits too ), as some people may be interested... ill also biff a photo up of the bike like it is at the moment. Thing is though for the Schools racing and some of the elites racing i have to carry a saddle bag filled with lead so im a 6.,8kg, HOW COOL IS THAT??? HAHAHAHAHA

remove the endfloat thingy (the gold anodised bit) or replace it with a custom tube made from carbon (easy enough...to stop the cups loosening you run threadtape, yes.

Could go with Tune Cappy (~75g, no setback) or Woodman (~85g, with setback) ... will need to ensure it fits the post.
Note: Tune Speedneedle should be ~100g

Good luck

Lovely built.

A new saddle (komm-vor+ 79gr), stubby and bottle cages (you can get 8gr ones without breaking the bank) would be my changes. These will probably save you around 220gr.

Your Kcnc bottom bracket is a lot heavier than you have listed , depending on exact model ,you are around 100grms to light .
Nice bike

How does a 17 year old afford a 5.1kg bike? Although on second glance most of the stuff is just tuned SRAM Red stuff, so I guess it's not that exotic. I've got a similarly equipped R1 with Ultegra and it's just under 6.8. I need to get off of this porky shimano gear, but I really hate the SRAM shifter action.
How's the stiffness on that crankset? I don't see how you can put a big hole in the middle of the crank arm and not affect the stiffness.
