Sold my Pegoretti Responsorium, and have just ordered a Moots RSL with Super Record EPS in its place, so treated my Seven Diamas to the Pegoretti's 'cast off' Super Record mechanical groupset.
Feels really solid, especially with the Boras. Somehow my Pegoretti and my other ti bikes feel light and delicate (not literally, just in terms of road feel). The Diamas feels like a real bruiser. The perfect crit bike. Light, but solid, stiff and aggressive. I have tried it with Lightweight Standards, Hyperons, Zipp 202s and the Boras hit the spot.
Fits me like a glove before anybody asks about the spacers. I would rather have spacers than a huge headtube, so went that way.
Shame about the red accents on the wheels and groupset. It matches some bikes, but not this one I think. I don't want to de-decal the wheels, and there's not much I can do about the groupset accents.
