The Gaulzetti Corsa checked all of my boxes on a bike frame.
I was looking for a race bike in metal that could handle the abuse of regular racing while still having a certain level of exclusivity and class. I wanted to keep it US built. Great customer service from Embrocation Cycling Journal.
Built as shown (no pedals, no cages, no computer, 404s), but bike sits a few ticks over the 14lb mark.
54cm Gaulzetti Corsa with a very rich, deep blue paint from Circle-A-Cycles
Dura Ace 7900 group (STI, fd, rd, brakes, cranks, cables and housing)
Praxis PF30 to 24mm bottom bracket -- very easy install, seems very smooth
Deda Trentacinque/ 35 bar stem combo with the carbon bar -- great finish, cable guides are tough depending on how high you want to run your bars
Selle San Marco Concor saddle
Fizik Handlebar tape
Zipp 404 tubulars
Dura Ace 7800 cassette
Vittoria Corsa CX
Still a couple of fit pieces to work out. The stock topper from Deda looks to have about a 2.5cm setback which is more than I previously used. It feels solid but different -- and I think that means I just need to get off line and ride it.

Mmm. Yes. I think I saw this one over at VS. As much as I dislike ISPs, this bike is totally right. Correct amount of saddle to bar drop; proper length stem; quality parts. Well done. Race the hell out of that thing!

Love it! Been talking with James at Embrocation and getting a project going with them. Would love to hear a ride report.
