First post here. Thought I'd introduce myself and show off my recent build!
My main objective for this build was to keep weight down but keep sacrifices to a minimum. My old r5 was built up lighter, but it didn't stop as well, didn't shift as well, didn't handle as well, made more noise, and required a bit more TLC to keep running smooth. So this time around, the bike is a bit porky by comparison (about 2.5kg heavier), but still feels fantastic. I wanted to keep clinchers for convenience, normal brakes and cables, padded saddle that I can spend 150 miles on, a cassette I can climb up walls with, etc etc.
I absolutely adore this frame. I had a 2012 R5 and it was certainly no slouch either. This feels about the same to me. I do miss the external cable routing of the older frame. The new frame is a bit heavier overall but I think it's warranted, better FD tab, nicer paint, supposedly some areas stiffened. Fork is lighter than the old though so that may cancel things out a bit. I'm usually ~125-135lb (56-61kg) so I can't really offer much in the way of stiffness.
The biggest influence for me updating/updating frames from the 2012 was vastly increased tire clearance in the rear. My old frame didn't really fit any tire if it measured greater than 24mm when inflated on a wider clincher rim. This new frame clears challenge strada pro's with no problem (measure 28mm when inflated), which I'm thrilled about. May seem like a silly reason, but I think tires are easily the most underestimated component of a bicycle.
Side note: 2015 Super Record grouppo is a huge improvement when compared to the already fantastic 2014 and before generations. If you're considering updating, I would recommend, there is a tangible difference in shift quality. New stuff has a very positive feel.

Reynolds attack rims Good looking bike!

Thanks all! I'm so pleased with how it's turned out.
Ding ding ding! Yep, 2014 Reynolds attack clincher rims. 29mm deep x 25mm wide. 375g/rim on the nose. Same general shape/width as the Zipp 202 Firecrest Clincher, but I much prefer Reynolds, I think their braking surface is one of the best in the game.

This is great! Very similar to my R5. I just took order on a BBinfinite UT bottom bracket and will be getting the 180mm UT Ti crankset to go with it. Cool to hear that the '15SR is blinging out your '15 bike

I'm very pleased with the BBinfinite BBright to ultra torque shell. One huge turn off for me on this frame is BBwrong. Im stubborn and wanted to stay with campy cranksets. The campagnolo BBright cups I had on my 2012 r5 were creak city town . Drove me insane.
Awesome bike. You need to get this jersey to match your groovy stem.

Love it. And yes, I am a sucker for Campagnolo equipped Cervelos, for some reason!

That is super!!
Can you elaborate on the installation of the bottom bracket? The BBinfinite instructions say to not use a wavy washer and to use threadlocker on the bearing races before installing the crank. I'm not too sure about either of those.
I'm getting ready to buy an R3 and am debating between this BB and the press in Campagnolo ones (with appropriate locking compound).
