Not sure if i should ask this question in the MTB or Cyclocross forum...anyways, I was wondering if the TRP cx9 or cx8 mini v-brakes would work properly with Extralite V-brake levers? Basically if the pull ratio would match up for this combo and they wouldnt feel mushy? I know the mini V-brakes are used on cross bikes with road lever...so if anyone might know the answer to this question, thanks!

you could use them. they would stop more quickly since the lever has a higher pull rate then a road or canti lever.

good...as long as they dont have that 'mushy" feel and lack power then all is good! thanks

C90SX has it the wrong way round, the leverage ratio of the MTB levers will mean the brakes feel wooden and don't stop you as well as they should.....
