An update on my experience with Piotr. I have sent back to snapped saddle back to him (For warranty) in Feb 2013 and sent him an email. He replied that he will notify me once he receives it. I have sent him a follow up email but till today, not one reply from him yet.

I hope no one is facing the same problem as I am.

Piotr is unfortunately like that, you need to have patience with him and lots of it. I ordered something on January and got it last week with hardly any communication between. You ll be doing good if you get a reply within a month :D But when you get his products you ll be happy that you waited, he is brilliant.

Expect to be patient and email once a week if you have not been getting replies- don't wait for the email you sent weeks ago to be answered.

Also, Piotr has always replied to me late in the evening (10-12pm Polish time) so I would suggest this is prime emailing time.

Very happy with the few bits I have had so far and looking forward to the saddle cradle to finish my build :)

Same experience, he takes a loooong time to answer e-mails, keep "bugging" him, he'll get in touch sooner or later.
That is the way he works, good or bad, but...

Anyone seen a Smud-Carbon UD 34.9x350 mm seatpost on the scale? I'm considering one and would like the UD finish but the 3K is probably lighter. I heard that the 3K is about 110 grams so wondering how much heavier the UD is.

Thanks.

Same stuff. I don´t have response from Piotr for 2 months. Maybe he can´t find good workers but I´m sure he can find somebody who can read and write e-mails. And I allready paid for stuff

I paid for a saddle almost two months ago. I was told it would take around 4 weeks. This is what happens I guess, and could be explained by Piotr being busy.

However, the fact that he doesn't reply to any e-mail, suggests to me that he does not take his business as seriously as he ought to IMO. It takes such short time to reply to an e-mail, but it gives a sense of being taken care of.

Can one of you tell me which shipping company Piotr used? He sent me a tracking number, but I don't know where to use it.

I finally received the saddle today. Brilliant piece of work, it's gorgeous.

Does anyone know the max torque I should apply when mounting the saddle?
