As of now I have a 2008 Giant XTC 1 (heavy as a rock) And I am looking for an upgrade. I found a 2009 Devinci Moonrace SL4 frameset with a high end Fox fork for $875. I am most likely going to buy unless there are some compatibility issues. As of now everything should work but could somebody tell me what things I need to look for and if something doesn't work, arund how much it would cost to get that fixed. Thanks!

you need to check;
-seatpost size
-bottom bracket width
-disc brake mounts (is or post mount)
-headset standard

Also check seat tube O.D. for the FD. I'd get the fork serviced if it's a second hand item.
