I've built up a light-weight "enduro"-fully, and now I'm asking you for some suggestions about saving some more weight but without a loss of performance or stiffness. For example I want a lighter fork, but with adjustable travel and at least 120mm of travel. What do you think about the Manitou Black Super Air or the new Minute III? I saw the new Pace RC40 at the Eurobike, looks very nice, too. I'm 70kg.

The frame is made of EASTON Ultra light tubes, 7005/7020 aircraft alloy, many cnc-machined parts. It's just beautifull! Frame is anodizised black, offers between 88 and 129mm of travel, recommended fork travel: 100-130mm. This is one of the great advantages of this bike: it's convertible from CC to "light" FR-riding, with a perfect 4link design rear end. "The idea behind this design is simple: minimize the influence the chain has on activating the shock under pedaling loads - the result is a full suspension design which has fantastic pedaling characteristics even with long travel frames", that's what Nicolai says, and he's right with it. I didn't need a lockout in this bike, I tested it with a Fox Float R Itch (OEM Specialized Enduro rear shock with adjustable travel) and only replaced it by the DT SSD 210L to save approx. 60g there (besides that the DT is diong a great job). It is very stiff, and Nicolai gives you a 5-year warranty even under race-conditions.

Nicolai makes some of the best bikes out there i was actully considering of getting one but the price turned me away... Its cheaper to get a custom.

That's true: the Helius CC frame costs 1799,- Euros, add 300,- Euros for custommade frames. But you get what you pay for, other labels are as expensive as Nicolai or even more expensive. And who else gives you a 5-years warranty even under competition conditions. Handcrafted frames are always that expensive, but high end = high price in most cases. A cheap hardtailframe is often almost as good as a very expensive one, you pay very much for saving some more weight e.g.

If i got the Nicolai Argon custom geometry it wouldve cost me like close to $2000 USD !

Well, I could buy a Argon custommade here in Germany for 999,- Euros (frame) + max. 300,- Euros (custommade), that's 1560,- USD. So if anyone's interessted. Other frames should be cheaper here as well.

But I wanted some suggestions for my Helius CC, as I wrote above. In addition to the forks I meantioned above I was thinking about a Fox Talas.
