In lieu of that I am thinking of having a custom Ti 29'er made. Any feedback on the Ericksen?

Axman seem to have a frame for 29ers called the M10. Haven't found a real life picture yet.

Although it appears similar to the new On One. Also features a post mount brake inside the rear triangle.

They are claiming 1150 +/- 30g for the 17"

BB30 or standard BB.

Anyone have any idea what this may be appearing as ?

Yes.. But Eliflaps new Flash carbon 29 in size M is 472 grams lighter than your Scott.. That's around 30% lighter, for the same size

On One are releasing a 29er hard tail frame and it's claimed to weigh under 1Kg and to be the lightest ever made you may want to wait for that to come out.

On one is now claiming 1500g on their site?
