I've debaged a SRAM Red 10s crankset. Just used sandpaper at various grit, water and some elbow grease. Took at afternoon to do, then added a few coats of gloss back over the next few hours.
I'm about to do the same on a SRAM Red22 crank, since my Dura Ace 9100 came unglued.
Where does the power2max get it's power readings, from the arm or spindle? If arm, there's probably an effect on accuracy you'll be removing some paint. Maybe have chat with your Power2Max rep. Left side of my Red22 is an FSA Stages arm with a Stagea logo on the side, and I'm debating whether to touch it.

This. My second hand S2200 had scratches all over the logo, so I followed these steps and had no issues ever since. The first time you sandpaper CF parts is somewhat scary, though.
