IMO This is prety common with the speedneelde rails. I have the version with the older rails and it has done the same on mine.

Gun, I removed the quote because you are writing a reply to me. The quote is not necessary.

Currently I'm not riding the combo, but I will ride it when my new cross bike will be here.
If you feel good with it. just ride it.

Gunkillah, this is nothing to be afraid off. I have been running both older and new type speedneedles with Tune and New Ultimate seatpost. Resulting in the same damage to the rails, but never any failure, the oldest seat is in use now for 4 years already.

Which 1-bolt clamp do I need in order to fit a Speedneedle on a Ritchey WCS/Superlogic 1-bolt post, 7x7, 7x9,6 or 8x8,5?

This is one huge post!

Will a new Speedneedle fit onto a Ritchey WCS Carbon 34.9 seatpost?

The compatibility list is based on the old Speedneedle with other rails, right?

It's only the look of the rails that are new - the dimension of the rails are still the same and the speedneedle fits that wcs carbon seatpost.

Yes, huge post - good idea with this. I wonder who original came up with the idea ;-)

Edit. No need to quote the previous message in the thread, thanks. Powerful Pete

Hi!

Does anybody know if the easton ec90 with 25mm offset as shown on the picture is compatible with a speedneedle. I can see that the ec90 zero offest is okay but the clamps are slightly different...
Thanx for the answer.

Such precision would be cheap at twice the price.
