I assume your frame is painted (rather than anodized)?
Its hard to know without seeing the state of the frame, but if its not major, I'd clean the area thoroughly, give it a rub down with some fine sandpaper and paint over the top.
It really shouldn't cause any problems. Aluminium effectively protects itself.
