I'm not Florian, but I'm from Germany, too and I talked to Uli Fahl (owner of tune) at the Eurobike this year. There's a new bottom bracket and new cranks coming out, with a new standard (the axle is beeing new designed, extralite is thinking about using it in their new E-bones as well). But he didn't mention anything else, but let's see...

This is what I heard..

soon to be released is Tunes own "6-pack" BB design with ALUMINIUM axle.weights around 105-110g (or just 82g with ceramic bearings!!!). the 6-pack design is said to be 40% stiffer than the square Ti-BB.
and they will also release their own carbon cranks to go along the BB.

other Tune news:
-40g carbon saddle
-350g XC-rim
-lighter hubs!!

I haven't bought the new bike workshop yet (= a catalogue for all kinds of components from German bike magazine).
All I can say is that the new tune price list only includes the new Sixpack Titanium bottom bracket at the moment.
Interesting: it comes with Al crank fixing bolts.
The last time I asked, I was told that the new hexagonal cranks and BBs will be available in mid December.

Another change:
the Speedneedle Lycra is no more, instead an Alcantara version is now available.
According to tune weight is the same (87 g), but it has many advantages compared to Lycra.

Do you think that those new Al crank fixing bolts will be much lighter?
A Ti Tune bolt weighs the same of a Al FRM, and Al is Al :?

Looks really bomb-proof, especially with those oversized Al bolts.

Shows once again that bottom brackets are Uli Fahl's favourite playground. 8)
