I've been running a Spec M5 HT '04 since Nov 2003, in annodised silver.

Warm smonge and soapy water and Its gleaming like new!

Trends change a bit with this. I'm more or less committed to black on my bike, but am quite liking the gunmetal colour that Hope are doing now

I think if I were buying a road bike, I'd be drawn to the matt black "Stealth" look. No flashy graphics, just slick stealth looks.

Lots of lovely silver bits look classy, esp. when mated with blue

so, erm, can I vote twice?!!

Black look great for *stealth* and on DH bikes IMHO

...and you should only be allowed to use purple components if you have a handlebar moustache and think that those CND canti brake hangers from the mid nineties are still cool :)

Black is great on stealth bikes.

Blue is great on on blue (and some reds) as well as Motrola colour bikes.

Red is great on red bikes (they are faster :D).

Green is good because no-one else has it.

Purple will never go on anything I own.

Black, Gold, or Red - I'd pick one color on a black colored or natural carbon frame

Blue - on a white frame

Purple? NO! This color is reserved for Barney's bike.
