tuning a lefty stem

Does anyone have experience tuning a cannondale stem for a lefty? Other than bolt Tuning, could some of the stem be shaved? its pretty beefy.

One choice is made custom stem. Like ti one...

Samu- I saw your post on the road forum about the Tri bars (superb work btw) where does one get something like that manufactured locally (not I contacted Moots/IF/ mr. boutique himself and it cost me $500/400 euro) Is that even an option or is ti welding best left to the absolute experts?
