What do you think about disc rotors made out of titanium?

How much could they be lighter than steel?

I've seen one on the market, why??

A 160mm ti-rotor weighs approx. 70-90g, depends on the design.

But what about performance with standard pads? Are these rotors as good as steel ones?

Magura haye new Rotors in Aluminium (55-60gr.)
for the Race Team in Athena - maby they go 2005 in Production
