it's a 25.4mm clamp. Most bar ends that have the same clamp style as the salsa will work.

The titus machined stem www.titusti.com is light and cheap ($45)

There aren't difference! The stems are equals! The only difference betwenn mtb and road bar is 0.4 - 0.6mm (mtb 25,4 road 25,8/26).

I tried using a road stem with mtb flat bars and it was no good. When properly torqued, the handlebars would slip in the clamp. Switched to the proper F99 mtb stem and the problem went away. This may not be the case with other stems, but definitely is with the Syntace. Why have two standards if it doesn't make a difference? For me it definitely made a difference
