I want to build myself a nice new lightweight real wheel mainly for road use but off course some offroad as it is a mountain bike. I have a fair bit to spend but not crazy amounts. I've been looking at a hope bulb hub, it weighs 375 grams, anyone no much about this hub? and what spokes should i go for? what weight are we talking for 32 spokes? and using a mavic 517 rim. I want this wheel to be as light as possible so im sure you guys no what is best to use.

Thanx :D

Obviously you could make the wheel lighter with some Chris King or Hugi 240 hubs, but price is also a sensible limiting factor.

Given this fact, why not try the Hope XC instead of the Bulbs. They're about the same weight but a lot cheaper.
.....but it still has to work!

Tune King/Kong disc hubs(32 spokes), Mavic X317, Sapim CX Ray spokes = 1475 gr.
