I've been running a set of PACE RC35 forks on my commuter bike (light, just a bit of comfort from the short travel) but recently found my elastomers have disintegrated.

While I wait for some new ones I thought I'd investigate getting some RC30 rigid legs to plug in to the crown. This would also give me the option of switching forks easily.

Old technology I know, but anyone have any experience of this (problems removing legs etc.)?

PS: If you have some lying around that you don't want (or spare elastomers) would be good too!
