hey guys,

i got some raceface turbine lp s really cheap, only catch is that they're an ugly lime green. i want to get them silver and i'm wondering what's the best option. options i've thought of are get them stripped and polished, powder coat then clear coat, anodize or chrome.

i'm just wanting to know if anyone has done this sort of thing and what ends up looking the best, is the lightest, is the most durable, is the cheapest.

i wouldn't think there'd be much of a weight difference but if there is could you please tell me. i have a suspicion that chroming might be very heavy.

thanks, john.

oh yeah, forgot to mention. at the moment i'm leaning towards powder coating them as i can get them bead blasted, pced metallic silver and then clear coated for $30 (australian dollars).

anodise. in my opinion, this is the best and lightest among the items listed.

OK, thanks guys. You don't have to stick to the options I've provided, it's just that they are the only options I've come across. If there is something better tell me. I'd like to anodize but it seems to be a fair bit more expensive. If it is very lopsided towards anodizing though I think I'll just fork out the extra pennies.

Thanks for the prompt responses, John.
