Anyone know where I can find a set of these rims? I need the ones for rim brakes.

Any other rims out there around this weight?

I saw some at Speedgoat.com the other day.

I thought they were v-brake and disc brake compatible?

American classic wheels are about the same weight rim, but are complete wheels.

Bontrager Valiant rims are 395gm's and real strong - worth considering.

Apparently they have only managed to make a few in the 355 gram range - The majority are 388.

Also, I discussed the use of these rims with pro XC race, Kashi Leuchs, he said that they were a good idea, but he would never use them until they have been tested (which they still haven't).

You can get them directly from Stan's, though I think that they are over $100.00 per rim

I'm currently using a set of 04' Sun UFOs. The rims were 367 & 378. They are 21mm wide.

how durable are the sun ufo rims? I had a hard time getting the sun 0 degree rims to stay true.

I just recieved and weighed 4 pcs. Stans ZTR355 disc brake rims in black. They we're labeled 350/349/348/348grams from Stan. My verified digital scale showed 351/351/350/350 which I think is very nice.

Time will tell if they're as durable as I hope...

I've used them for a couple of months now including a couple of races and so far no problems. I would probably recommend a beefier rim for the aggresive riders however.

What hubs do you run them with, and what spokes do you use? I'm still pondering over my alternatives regarding spokes... :?
