1. EC70 - light and well matches my frame. is it real comfortable to ride?

It's not bad at all, definatly able to feel the difference; the only real problem is it has 1" of setback making the saddle kind of hang over the back wheel, in mid-air almost. On my bike anyways, it my not be bad on others.

Abit OT:
Does anyone have any opinions on USE's Alien Ti seatpost? Is it suitable for XC/Trail use... and that Clamp looks abit sus, is it flimsy?

Ok,

this is a question many people reading this are probably interested in:

What is the lightest "affordable" seatpost, still strong enough for rough trails and with " no worries" design?

The price should be under 80 € (about the same in us dollars, delivered).
Lightweight means under 220 g (IMO).

Ritchey wcs is a top contender...

Looking at the actual observed weights (especially in 31.6 the size of my Klein) the Al Alien Post seemed to be consistantly the lightest or close to it. Why (other then the ride improvement) not recommend that (other then they are hard to find)?

I have a USE Alien Carbon on my road bike- and it sure is light, but I would be real nervous to use it off-road.

I have a Al Use Alien I am bidding on, as the weight of the 31.6 posts listed on this site are real tempting.
