I was just woundering where everybody gets his/her parts. I'm a ebay weenie, but ebay abroad because there aren't many bike parts for sale at ebay in Holland.
I buy the most parts in Germany, but my last buy (a Ritchey Logic crankset) was bought in the States.

Since I work in the bike business, I can get my hands on bikegear easily... Even rare parts that most people have never heard about...

Everywhere, Ebay (mostly DE and US), LBS, Dept Store like Karstadt and any bike shop. I travel for business very frequent and in between always try to look for bike shop to refresh my eyes.

I buy the majority of my bike parts from online bike stores. I only use LBS for minor spares or wrench help.

I buy most of my bits from my LBS here in Australia, Marshall's Cycles... I have been in and out of that store since I was 8, used to take our freshly *f##k* up northstars/huffys/k-mart crap there. He'd always fix it...

When I was 13 I used to live in the store, checking out the new stuff, playing in the workshop... Now I'm 20, and still visit the store pretty much every week, after this and that. A five minute call in for cables, or other consumables usually ends up a 2 to 3 hour bullshit session with the mechanic (and part owner) :P

I sometimes buy stuff from OS (USA or Canada normally), as it's too expencive in Ausrtralia (i.e CK stuff, and RaceFace)... But at the end of the day, you'll usually find me in the LBS! :D

I'm from Atlanta, Ga. So the LBS store doesn't carry high volume components. They mark it up big time. I go to e-bay 1st (30-50%) off on most stuff I find. If I can't find it, then I'll go to big name internet bike stores.
