Got this picture from controltech. Im just wondering, is crowfoot lacing bring best performance for mtb racing?

I have build my front disc wheelset with 3 crossing which is 16 of the spokes are Dt comp with brass nipples and other 16 of the spokes are titanium with aluminium nipples. i feel much better with it. now im not sure about my rear wheelset lacing. i want something that is very strong and light. My planing of my rear wheelset as follow:- The drive side of my rear hub should be 3 cross-lacing. Now, Im not pretty sure about the non-drive side. My question is to go with radial or crowfoot on the non-drive side? any pro wheelbuilder care to share please?

i need some advise.
thanks

That's not crowsfoot laced. It's 24h radial NGS, 2x GS, it's a trick of the eye because of the picture angle.
I wouldn't lace a crowsfoot wheel for MTB, the radial spokes could tear the flange out.

It does look like road wheels deep dish and disk wheel died out mid nineties for mtb since it was heavy nor aerodynamic. But yeah a mtb marathon race i saw, few guys were racing on zipp 404's.
