Has anyone heard of Bontrager XXXLite inner tubes?
I saw some at a local bike shop, but can't find any reference to them on the internet. I am looking fo reduce my bikes rolling weight, and figure this is the best way. I ride a 2003 Giant NRS2 with Hutchinson Python Air Light tires.

Well are they butyl or latex ? Latex tube will reduce your rolling resistance a bit but not as much as going with tubeless latex setup like stans or eclipse.

If you really want to improve rolling mass. Throw away those tires and buy some real light ones. Like The schwalbe Fast Fred, Kenda klimax/kozmic lite. Or conti twister supersonic.

For lightweight tubes try Maxxis Flyweights.

1.5/1.75 79g
1.9/2.125 91g

I run the 1.9/2.125 in a pair of Fire XC pro's. Pucture free. One pinch flat at 30psi (rocky decent, with sharp angular rocks). No problems at 35psi and above. Before the posts come in thick and fast, I know I need to change the tyres for lighter ones. Just waiting for them to wear out.
