I have a cdale scalpel that uses a xloc full sprint device. It recently has started leaking oil from the thumb shifter area, I rebled and it all leaked out. Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it before I have to spend $200 for a new one? Also...can the rear shock and the lefty shock be used without the xloc full sprint device? I think both shocks stay locked out when xloc is removed....anyway to get around this? Thanks

I also had this issue with my x loc remote. Do a full bleed and replace all of the seals in the system. It doesn't use dot fluid, but the 2.5 wt suspension oil seems to wear the seals down over time, or it's just the life span of little rubber O rings.
Seal kit is only a few dollars, as well as the bleed it. If it's still leaking I would call sram and see if there is something else to be done. I did his on mine and it's been flawless since. I try to bleed it every few months though.

To answer this, yes they will be locked out, the answer at the front is simply a different compression damper, at the rear its either a shock strip and rebuild with a different damper or a new shock.
