Im looking to shorten the hydraulic hose for cannondale lefty lockout.

The lever will be on left, is there any reason why not to route the hose over the bars?

Query irrelevant, the hose at the lever appers to be crimped so no shortening is possible.

Drill out the hose at the lockout - cut it to the length you want - drill it on again.
