Hello all..great site you have here. I've been looking for a site like this for quite some time and am happy to have stumbled across it.

Was searching for some info on my bike but couldn't find it so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a stock 2000 Rockhopper A1 FS 17inch bike and was wondering what the weight of it was as I have no actual means to weigh it myself. I notice the listings here are for frames and parts not whole bikes ( unless I am blind or dumb  and missed it ).

Any help would be appreciated and also what would be the best parts to start upgrading on this bike ? I ride mostly off road trails if this helps.

I can list the full specs on the bike if this helps in any way.

Thanks,
Havok.

Hello Havoc and welcome to WW site.

Your right full bikes are not listed.

Please list your bike spec as this will help, also do you have a budget in mind?

Those are the specs. Sorry if it is hard to read as I had to cut/paste.

As far as a budget I would say under 500 ( canadian )for upgrading it. I know rims are expensive for good ones so I would say exclude them in any upgrade reccommendations as I can suffer another year with the current ones. Bike is in mint condition as I have barely rode it last two years. Just had it tuned and rims trued so am ready to ride. :) I am kind of a noob when it comes to upgrading mountain bikes and have been riding my racer bike more often these last two years. I know upgrade to the Deore Xt drivetrain and better forks is a good start... after that ....clueless.

EDIT Specialized got back to me on the weight of bike. According to them it is 28.121lbs.
