Looking for some replacement 29er xc wheels. Looking at crest mk3, ryde trace and dt Swiss 1500's. Though having seen some reviews raving about decent carbon wheels I am tempted. Though as Mtb'ing is a bit of a sideline to the road for me the performance gain would need to be worth while. Any opinions greatly received.

im running light bicycle rims, 32 spoke count, at 88-95 kilo im not lightweight and most of the trails i ride are fairly rough, i had these rims for 3 years now, i laced a different front hub so i could use a different fork and im happy to report there are great rims. there strong wide and reasonable light, i paid 165 per rim, i believe 24 mm internal and they came in at roughly 390 (i think it was 385 and 390) grams. they have lighter rims on offer as we speak and i would not hesitate to buy them again.
