No - I'm not thinking about putting them on - I'm buying a bike that has them, and trying to calculate weight savings. Anyone know what these suckers weigh?

While I'm on the topic, I'm thinking about Panaracer Green Lites. Anyone have experience with these - good/bad? I'm an adventure racer/XCer - so nothing TOO technical. Still need the tubes to last a while...

Thanks for your help!!

hi gofather

Is it the green slime you are talking about?
well, if you are talking about green slime, i'll explain. there are two types of green slime. one is plastic tape that wrap around the tube and another in liquid form. Not recommend for racing which would cause slow rotation wheel. They are good only for long distance or training. hope this help you. :D

for the weight for green slime, tape ones is 50g per wheel.
for the liquid, should be lesser around 40g below. i weight it by my hands and roughly quess it. :D

Emailed the manufacturer. Weight for a 26 x 1.95 with sealant is 315 to 325 grams!!!

Convert to Bontrager superlights = weight savings of 390 grams for $20 - not bad.
