Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the new SRAM Eagle XX1 crankset has the same 3 bolt spider fitting as the older XX1 cranksets?

I am looking at getting one of the new Quarq POwermeters and was wonder if it will fit older XX1 cranks.

Cheers

They are the exact same crankset- maybe different carbon layup, but exact same cranks as XX1 11 speed.
And the Eagle XX1 works perfectly with 11 speed narrow wide rings- so don't think that you need anything special to run your powermeter with Eagle.
I am using a Wolftooth wide narrow ring- works great.

Thats because of different ways of mounting the powermeter.
It's still 3-mount like every sram crank with directmount option!

So they sell the XX1 Eagle spider separately but it needs to be put on an 8 bolt crankset, ie only one that already has a SRAM xx1 Eagle Quarq on it?

Normal XX1 Eagle 3 bolts are not compatible? seems pointless selling just the Quarq spider, or am i missing something?

I assumed all the forthcoming sram cranks would be 8 bolt. Either way, still angers me as I'd love to pop a power meter spider on my existing xx1 crank.

I'd been hoping for a model from P2M, but they had already said there were no plans for that.
