lightest 650b tire ?

hi

what s the lightest xc tire for my 650b wheelset ?

i've seen maxxlite at 340gr and... that s all ?!! the closest one i ve found is rocket ron at 460 ??

any other alternative ?

Yeah found this one too.

How can maxxis make a 340 one and nobodyelse does better than 415 ?? That s a huge diff.

I doubt many are running them at all, they have next to no grip and a super thin carcass so unless you're riding a very hard packed fire road with no thorns they're not going to last a ride. A friend of mine tried them last summer, the front lasted a full days riding but he said it was like riding with a slick tyre! The back had 2 flats and tore the sidewall, and this was riding nothing very challenging in the Surrey Hills.

26*1.95 (299g)
27.5*1.95 (336g)
29*1.95 (351g)

anyone want to try this one ? :D

My friend used this Chaoyang tire. Not bad. However, of course you know, beware of flat problems.
