I have used previous generation OPM fork with single shot II damper (AFAIK current generation is a bit different damper), this was smoothest fork I had ridden in terms of small bump compliance (have had both single and dual air sids, rct3 and fox kashima on 29er's before). At first I had problems with lockout which barely locked, but it was replaced under warranty and after then had been working flawless. Also did small maintenance service once on it, and it is as simple as rock shox.

Of course Nino might use a brand new fork for every race, and might have a tweaked, reworked, or even totally different damper on the inside...
Pro's aren't a great reference for tech at the best of times, but doubly so for the easily hidden black magic of suspension!
