I am wondering too - since my Maxxis Aspen Exceptions work fantastic currently.

What additional benefits the tubeless "version" offer over the not officially badged as tubeless versions? More weight?

If Nino's riding the same tires today, I'm wondering what he has to say about them after the puncture he just got...

Any info on the availability of 29*2.25 Aspen in Europe? Haven't seen them listed anywhere...

And did anyone note that some Scott team riders have been spotted using new Maxxis prototype tire. Would be interesting to know if / when it will be produced.

Yep the 170 TPI is only for pro riders but us mere mortals should be able to buy the normal 120 TPI version though I can't see it in stock anywhere in Europe. I asked about directly from Maxxis a while ago but got no response... Guess I'll try out the new Addix RaRa/RoRo then because I'm not so tempted to run 2.1 version of Aspen on HT :noidea:

The Addix RaRa/RoRo combination will certainly be fast and it will provide more grip than the 120 TPI Aspens.

I was able to pick up the 29x2.25 EXO casing version at my LBS through QBP. Is anyone able to get hold of the non-EXO casing version yet?
