In the world of road bike, we have something like Cannondale CAAD12, which is a alloy frame with quite a bit of vertical compliance.
Is there such thing in MTB as well? An alloy frame with some vertically compliance?
Compliance alloy MTB frame? Something like CAAD12 in road bikes?

Yes, they all have some compliance, but given most MTB's already have circa 1.5" in the tyres (versus a road bikes 5mm) then it's pretty academic really, the amount of compliance in the frame is tiny compared to the tyre.
Impoverished weight weenie wanna-be!

Also, try vintage CAAD5 MTB frame: very stiff, yet smoothly compliant....similar to 2004-2006 Cannondale Optimo alloy frames. Best of the bunch is the 2000 F5000SL
I'm riding the new alloy F-SI, compliance is decent but like TheRookie said you are getting most of the comfort from tires regardless of the frame material. That being said I think the carbon save post could help a lot.
