Building my first MTB. Steel Hardtail 29er. Looking for opinions on forks, 100mm travel, tapered steerer, 15mm TA, XC style and have narrowed it down to two choices. Budget is up to $600.

RockShox Reba RL 100 (what's the difference between the RL and RLT besides BOOST option)

Fox 32 Float 100 Performance 29

Any relevant advice and opinions are welcome.

The RLT has low speed threshold adjustment, much better than the basic RL.

Would take either over the 32 personally.

Does it have to be only those two options?
If you can stretch the budget slightly there are much better options
