Does any one know any thing about the new forks from Fox for 2017?

The latest Fit damper (2015) is a massive improvement over the rather cr*p CTD predecessors.

As for anything else, well which fork from the range? I'm guessing you aren't asking on WW about a triple clamp 40!

I am a XC Marathon rider so 32 100mm it is.

I know they are to introduce a new fork for 2017.
Wonder if any one know any thing about it.
In what way they are to improve on the really great FIT4?

Sergio Mantecon and other TFR guys have posted pictures of new, all black Fox forks with trimmed down lowers.

So still FIT4 and with seriously machined out lowers! Does it say 32 Performance LITE on the logos? Maybe there will be a non machined XC/trail version and this uberlite XC race version.

Oh yeah, and black slidey bits. Wonder what's changed there.

The colour of the anodizing!

Silver was always chrome on steel (aka seen as cheap)
Some steel were black coated.
Alloy stanchions were then anodized a gold colour to differentiate and look 'pricey'.

RS not long ago started doing black anodizing to go with the Black crown and lowers and create a more cohesive look, I guess Fox are copying them!

Its not even a Factory level fork. The Factory level fork still may have the Kashima coat.

This is an OEM model.

The top end will have the Kashima coating and the performance will have a black coating.

Weight will be about 1300 grams.

All this is still a none official info

That weight would be a heck of step forward. Lighter than a Sid world cup, waaay lighter than an RS1...

There has been a few pics around of Emily Batty and Julien Absalon with orange lowers on their forks.
I'm guessing they are testing something new as well

I was at a local race last weekend and I saw a few bikes running the orange forks. Still have the Kashima coat. Not really feeling the all orange lower though.
