Sub 1300g Semi-Wide Carbon 29er Wheelsets?

You can easily go sub-1300 for MTB wheels (if price is not a concern).

My current MTB wheelset weighs around 1350 grams. Mcfk rims (24.5 mm internal width, 35 mm external), Lefty/DT Swiss 240s hubs, and 28 Sapim CX-Ray spokes. They've been solid for me so far (I weigh around 70 kgs). If I had chosen other hubs I could have easily managed sub-1300.

Bike-Aheads has a wheelset (27 mm internal width) which has a claimed weight of 1189 grams.

Do you like your MCFK rims? Can you compare them to ENVE rims? I'm going to build a new 29' wheelset and now choosing between these two rims. Are ENVE rims much more stiff compared to MCFK?

These are mine. But I do not think you can reach 1.300g 29er carbon wheelset sub 800USD.
rims: Duke Lucky Jack 24,5mm internal widht
hubs: Extralite HyperFront and HyperBoost rear (32spoked)
spokes: Sapim CX Ray

You could use cheaper rims to reach that 1.300g goal. You save a lot of cash for the rims.
rims: Bor XMD333 Wide+ Aluminum (internal width 24mm)
hubs: Tune King/Kong (rear Boost) 32spoked
spokes: Sapim CX Ray + Aluminum nipples
