I need 2 140mm centerlock rotors for my new bike. Is there anything lighter than Sram or Shimano standard?
114g for a avid with lockring.

I found out that my MTB setup of Hope Floating Rotor Pro + DT Swiss CL adapter is lighter than the new 9000 XTR rotor (with lockring). At least for 160mm size.

Will you be using 140mm on the front also? Did not know it was possible (for MTB forks).

On front too. Is a roadbike but thought it was better to ask in this forum as you know more about rotors ;)

I would think Ashima Ai2 with adapter would be lightest :)

But not available Martin :( Have been in contact with Absolute Black about it but a boring answer. Was my first choice as I like their quality.

114g for Avid. What about XTR Freeza Ice-Tech? A couple of grams extra for additional cooling... :)

Carbon Ti rotors are not centerlock standard.

Yes Absolute Black is delaying these for ages now. I guess it has to do with demand...?

Experimental Prototype had these a while back.

How about a lightweight Ashima or KCNC rotor with a centerlock adapter? Should be in ~95g range.

Just write to AbsoluteBlack and tell them you want the rotors. I've been trying to get them to start making them again (although I want the 6-bolt one), and when I spoke to Martin (?) a month ago or something like that he said something about starting producing them in early 2016. But the more people that write them and express their interest, the higher the chance that they will make them again :)

When was this, and what was the answer?

Haven't saved the e-mail but something that it wasn't even planned anymore.

Do you recall approximately when you got this reply? Because when I spoke to Martin (or whatever his name is) from AbsoluteBlack about a month ago, I got the feeling that they intended to start selling them again.
