Hi everyone, I am looking for a crankset for the new lightweight built. Here are starting points:
- price doesn't matter;
- preferably lowest possible q-factor (156 would be great, but 168 may work as well).
- 175 crank arm length;
- stiffness has more priority over the total weight (i.e. I wouldn't agree -20 g of weight with stiffness reduced by 20% from the median of the market);
- it will be used for the racing and should be durable/secure on rocks/mud/rain/sands/...;
- direct mount N/W chinrings;

Right now I see just 4 options here:
- RaceFace Next SL
- THM Clavicula M3
- Tune Black Foot
- Lightning MTB

I am really thinking about first two and not sure if I missed some interesting product here.
I would really like to see analog of Clavicula SE with it's weight and full carbon construction with singlespeed direct mount option and lower q-factor and may be more covered left arm locking.

Cannondale Hollowgram?

If I had to pick one part on my bike that had to be aluminum, the cranks would be it.

Hell, I don't have to pick a part that has to be aluminum, and I still use them. Because I ride in an area where rocks are everywhere, and very hard to avoid at times.
