I'll repeat myself . Nothing wrong with the clamping of this rotor . Sheesh !!!

Hey Dan :D . Actually I was bored to be honest . I build a lot of components (chainrings, adaptors, mudguards etc) and thought I would try a brake rotor . I had some spare carbon from the sheet I made and gave it a go . Lots of testing and trial error and it all worked out . I wanted the rotor to have a stiff centre but still have a strong surface for the brake pads so thought to mix the steel and carbon together . Using the resin and having to machine out the carbon for the steel to sit into wasn't easy . In fact I actually tested the rotor with the just the epoxy resin and it held up really well . The added titanium screws are just for support . Sure there are lighter rotors out there but not as stiff as this which in turn should make it stronger .
