got the 2015 aluminum stumpjumper ht, want to make it light as possible, coming from a road background i don't have a lot of knowledge with mtb hardware have about 1500 to burn for upgrades, what should i do in order of importance thanks guys!

seatpost to a KCNC Ti pro lite approx 150g, your seatpost must weight about 315g like the one I have here

handle bar to mount zoom approx 125g, the specialized bar are arround 250g

wheels to stans crest on american classic hubs approx 1450g, not sure about the weight of your wheels but they certainly must weight noth of 1800g

seatpost collar to a KCNC one, about 11g, yours is 20-25g

then you could switch it to a 1x10 drivetrain which would be quite cheap to do. The tires you have one there are great tires IMO and not too heavy.

i can switch to 1x10 and the gearing would be reliable on the trails ?....how would i do this, what would i need to get this and the wheels would be biggest upgrade probable..thanks for the reply too.

You already have a clitch derailleur on there for the 1x. Maybe change your front ring to a 30 or 32 depending on your level and add a chainguide or not depending on how safe you want it to be

Absolute Black has the chainrings to convert to 1X10.
