Hello!

Does anyone have any experience with Michelin Wild Race'R2 Advanced Ultimate tires? I am mostly interested in 29 inch ones.

i have used the 2.1" for 2 years on the rear on my 26" C'ndale Flash w. Sun-Ringle Black Flags - love it. ridigusly fast on hardpack and gravel, seals well on BST. Ok (better than Wild Racer'R Advanced) in moderate mud and it actually sheds mud quite good + its decent on tarmac. In snow it lags a bit compared to 'ordinary' Racer'R Advanced.

I used them on front and rear, and now only rear. I think the side knobs are a bit too low on the front. On the rear it is a really nice tire. Very fast of course. But also enough grip when running low pressure (1.5-1.6 bar, 26 inch 2.25 that is).

Thank you for your replies, reippuert and Pieter. I did order 29 x 2.25 version and will see how they perform.
