Hi there. : )
I am considering an extralite rc1 carver v brake frame.
I ride in the city so do not want flashy graphics to advertise the name to prevent bike thieves googling it on their ipads in town.
The company sell these frames with or without paint/decals
-just anodized
-raw sand blasted for painting
-raw sand blasted for anodizing
-to be sand blasted
I would like a finish that is like a dull mirror, an old aluminium sort of look.
i presume "to be sand blasted" could be scratched from when it was built?
and sand blasted would be very dull, but even.
The other option is painted but with no decals.
However, I just wonder if anyone else here rides with no paint?
Any advice would be cool.
Thanks : )
aluminium no paint ?

You can ride it with no paint at all, just polish the metal slightly to reduce the dullness (to the level you want) and use some car body wax to prevent it oxidising too badly, especially if you have salt on the road in winter.
Impoverished weight weenie wanna-be!
