Garbaruk chainrings?
Moderator: Moderator Team
Does anybody have any experience with them? They have a direct mount for SRAM that gives you a 47.5mm chainline vs the 49mm on a stock XX1 spider.

I sent them an email about chain rings, and handlebars and didn't get much of a response!

Hi, i have a Melon one, 34T for Cannondale Hollowgram crank, and for now i´m very impressed with it and the oval thing!
It was a nightmare to get my chainring, had to open a dispute on PayPal. They are in and from Ucrania, so you know what´s happening there!
They don´t answer to mails, or should i say, when things got complicated - my paid chainring was lost or was never sent (still don´t know), they never answered my mails. Only when i made a complaint with PayPal they gave signs of life!
Regards

Thanks for the replies!
The slow shipping was the thing I was most concerned about. Read several posts on their Facebook page.
They told me that the ring I wanted is in stock. 30T direct mount GXP Melon. Their email replies were fairly quick. Usually within 24 hours.

Does anyone here have any experience with their cassette range extenders - 29-35-42 like the Leonardi General Lee:
http://en.garbaruk.com/products/extender
Also, does anyone know the weight of the 3 cogs from the Shimano XT cassette that this replaces? Is the above a significant weight savings?

it's about -100g. The total weight with extender is around 250g, give or take.
weight concerned = good, weight obsessed = bad!

I just got my ring and I can't tell which way I should mount them? My ring doesn't seem to have any offset either.
I ordered a 46t 110mm BCD ring for GXP if that helps?
And I had no issue with delivery at all. It was a little slower than I expected, a couple days slower. But I have to say this should be because they used economical shipping method. €6 for shipping to Malaysia!!

There should be a little round tab on he inside of the ring.
