savechief - Thanks for the feedback on the Thomson bar. I've always loved their stems and seat posts. Bummer their not made in the U.S., but what is? ENVE is just too costly for my wallet....

+1 on Thomson X-Country 730mm flat bar. Stiffer than Syntace, Easton and Enve.

Thomson is awesome. 6° and bomb proof. 730 is sort of the perfect with (imo/for where and how I ride)
Easton ea90 9° 720 are stupid light, super comfortable but they will break. I'm 61 kg and managed to break two sets. Still have the Thomson running strong. I'm not a particularly strong dude or hamfisted either.
