Anybody run Velotoze(the long ones) on their mtb shoes? More specifically, on Shimano XC70s. Winter is here in Australia and my little toes like to keep dry and warm, cheers

The package says "for road use only". They are made more or less entirely out of latex, and would get ripped easily if used on mtb. So definitely not recommended.

I tried them for my commuting with Gaerne Mtb shoes, you have to enlarge the holes and they will work. But they are very fragile. At the same time they are the best overshoes for rain, nothing comes even close to them. I have been in heavy rain on my commute and my feet stayed dry. but gain they need to be put on with a lot of caution as they are so fragile. It doesn't cost mush also to replace them after a while.
